As the name suggests, it’s a red flower*. Don’t know what it is, but it had such a rich colour I had to get a shot of it!
*I’ve been informed it’s a Gerbera, thanks Katie!

Out of focus Christmas lights.. I know they’re done to death at this time of the year but I thought I would contribute anyway!

Smarties? Check
Camera? Check
Boredom? Check
I would love to pretend to you all that there’s some significant meaning to this photo, but the truth is, I just really fucking love Smarties…

OK, so it’s only a mini bottle, not exactly hardcore but I thought it would make a nice photo!

This is my Brother and Sister-In-Laws cat, Splash. She was very patient and posed well for me!
If only human models were this easy to work with!

This is what happens when you shine a green laser into a glittery Christmas tree bauble!

Just about all that is left of the Pump & Tap in Leicester, which has been demolished along with most of the bridge which housed the beer garden… The whole thing has been demolished to build a new leisure center for the DMU!

Ok, so I couldn’t be bothered to go anywhere to take some photographs today, and decided to just see what I could snap around the house and garden. This is a view down the side of my garage…

I took a quick walk into town tonight and got some really interesting shots of our local church. I love the way the uplighters throw a bright glow to the top of the tower, and the way the strong lighting shows through the windows!

Mum got some more birthday flowers today, a beautiful mixed basket and a big bunch of roses. This is one of the yellow rose from the big bunch. I love the rich yellow colour, and the distinct lack of focus in most of the image.

Mum got some more birthday flowers today, a beautiful mixed basket and a big bunch of roses. This is one of the buds from the mixed basket. I really like the water droplets clinging to the sides of the bud, and the DOF which just makes the background much less distracting.

Some gorgeous roses that my Dad bought for my Mum for her birthday. I love the different colours.
